一 |     Rakul Preet Singh recently attended an event where she discussed the age gap between male and female leads in the same film. She also spoke about her collaboration with Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De 2. At the Agenda Aaj Tak 2025 event, Rakul Preet Singh discussed her romantic pairing with Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De 2. She said, “The film received a very good response. It received a lot of love from the audience.           She expressed that there are very few actresses who have the opportunity to play such roles, and mentioned, “I hope that I will continue to be offered similar roles in the future." Addressing the age difference between herself and Ajay Devgn, she said, “I have seen many real-life couples with a significant age gap. Making a film with such content is difficult.”           Rakul further shared, “We haven’t shown in the film that people easily accept such relationships. We have shown the impact and the drawbacks of such relationships.           When Rakul was asked if it was challenging to play a romantic interest opposite Ajay Devgn in the movie, she said, “Acting is a weird process. Between action and cut, you are a different character. I don’t even know how that switch happens. We laugh before crying in a scene. There’s a lot of hustle and bustle on the set. But as soon as the camera turns on, a switch flips inside you. Ajay sir will always be ‘sir’ to me. I grew up watching him. He is a superstar. The respect for him will always remain.           Rakul concluded her comment, saying. “We don’t start firing guns on the street after watching an action movie. Some films are made for impact, some for entertainment.” De De Pyaar De 2, starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Rakul Preet Singh among others released last month and was praised by the audience for showcasing a topic and giving it a clever and humorous touch. Also Read: De De Pyaar De 2 Review: Madhavan, Rakul Preet and Ajay Devgn Shine in This Comedy of Manners。    Ottawa, Oct 20 (UNI) Hurricane Fiona is estimated to have caused 660 million Canadian dollars (about 528 million US dollars) in insured damage in Canada, the Insurance Bureau of Canada said.

Fiona is the most costly extreme weather event ever recorded in Atlantic Canada, and the tenth largest in the country in terms of insured damages, the bureau said in a press release, quoting the "record-breaking" initial estimates from Catastrophe Indices and Quantification Inc.

Many affected residents were located in high-risk flood areas and floodplains where residential flood insurance coverage is not available. As a result, the overwhelming majority of costs for this disaster will be borne by government, according to the release.

"As we begin to see the extent of damages caused by Hurricane Fiona, it is clear that much more needs to be done to enhance our resilience to extreme weather events and build a culture of preparedness moving forward," said Amanda Dean, vice-president, Atlantic, Insurance Bureau of Canada.

The long-lived and powerful storm first made landfall in Atlantic Canada on Saturday, September 24. With maximum wind gusts exceeding 100 km/h in Atlantic Canada and Eastern Quebec, Fiona resulted in tragic loss of life as well as violent winds, torrential rainfall, large waves, storm surge, downed trees and widespread power outages, the release said.

Insurance claims from severe weather have more than quadrupled across Canada since 2008. The new normal for insured catastrophic damages in the country has reached 2 billion Canadian dollars (about 1.6 billion US dollars) annually.
